Rahui Taiohi is a combined team from Te Kura-a-iwi o Whakatupuranga Rua Mano and Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Rito o Raukawa. The girls were a part of a wider netball academy group of 18 girls who trained 5 times a week and played competition matches weekly sometimes twice weekly. The academy focussed on developing these young women as people through the medium of netball.
