Make sure you save the weekend of 15/16 November for the Kāpiti Arts Trail!
This is a not be to missed opportunity to browse, be wowed and purchase works of art from a myriad of talented people. Christmas is a mere month away so be prepared and get ready by buying one-off gifts.
There will be hundreds of works in lots of different media to see with 62 studio artists (10 from Ōtaki) participating.
Four hubs from Ōtaki representing a number of artists and artisans are taking part (including a new one at Nga Purapura).Trinity Farm at Waitohu Valley Road, Otaki Baptise Church Facility SHI and Varience in Atmore Ave are the other Otaki hubs. Nine other individual artists are also open to view in Otaki. Don’t miss ‘Scape Sculpture Park which will be displaying more than 40 large outdoor sculptures which the Otaki Mail wrote about last month.
In Te Horo, one hub of painters and two galleries will be showcasing works. Blue Skies gallery, Artscape and Lavender Creek Farm are the venues there.
We have a wonderful mix of artists participating in this year’s trail and it’s shaping up to be a great event,” Council’s Events Co-ordinator, Margaret Sweetman says.

On the trail, look out for the orange Arts Trail flags to locate each artist and/or hub.
