Funding and Support – Vital to Citizens Advice Bureau

R_CAB_aboutEach year, we received funding from the Lottery Grants Board and it is greatly appreciated. This funding will help us continue to deliver a high quality service to the people of Otaki.

The Lottery Grants Board is a major ongoing supporter of Citizens Advice Bureaux New Zealand Inc (CABNZ) and its 86 member bureau.

We also acknowledge and appreciate the funding provided by Kapiti Coast District Council (KCDC) and the ongoing support and work with our Community Partnership.

We acknowledge and thank the Community Organization Grants Scheme (COGS) and their grant in response to our earlier application for funding.

We also are grateful to the ongoing support from Otaki Mail with whom we publish articles and developments from our Bureau Information sources.

We are grateful to our local solicitors Jim Simpson, and Darryl McLaren for their continued support. We greatly appreciate their time and effort with the Bureau when arranging free 20-minute appointments for our clients at such short notice.

All of these funding and support enable CAB to continue providing free, confidential and impartial information, advice, advocacy and support which helped over half a million people nationally every year.

CAB interacts with various other community groups and most of our members are involved in many other local agencies and we value their contribution and time.

We are involved in taking bookings for the Otaki Health Shuttle which is a valuable service in Otaki.
