Stolen Bike – can you help ?

F_Au_14_QuadbikeInformation sought relating to Burglary at Konini Street, Otaki Beach on Saturday 16th August 2014 approx 2000hrs.

Complainant arrived home from work and drove his trailer loaded with quad bike into the garage, closing the door behind him.

Minutes after going inside and having a shower, dinner etc, offender has entered complainant’s garage, unloaded the quad bike from trailer, pushed it onto the road, started the bike and rode off at speed onto the beach of Marine Parade.

The complainant gave chase and believes the offender met up with a Blue Mitsi Pajero (short wheel base, reg similar to ASF??) on the beach and both vehicles went North along beach and into the Waikawa Beach settlement area.

It appears the Quad and Blue Pajero never left the Waikawa area.

Offender description: Male, Early 20’s, Slim, Athletic, short hair, fair skinned, average height.

Anyone who may have seen a person riding a Quad on Marine Parade or the Blue Mitsi Pajero driving around the Otaki Beach, Konini St – Marine Parade area,
