Rahui rugby under 10 team go on attack in their attempt to get the ball from the tackled Paraparaumu player, while his team mates come into help to keep the ball on their side.
The game was played at Levin’s Playford Park under lights, a new experience for the outclassed Paraparaumu team. Rahui have played night rugby previously and this team has not lost a game in four years of playing together.
The night games exchange was organised by the Horowhenua-Kapiti Rugby Union, giving teams in the under seven to under 13 grades an opportunity to play against teams they wouldn’t normally play. Rahui plays in the northern division – Otaki to Foxton and Paraparaumu the southern division which covers Waikanae to Norths in Porirua.
