The exhibition “Otaki Remembers World War I” is open and is being very well attended. There is a great deal to see – the Roll of Honour with nearly 400 names, photos of warfare, the work of nurses and more – including a horse. We have an excellent team of volunteers, but need more. Can you spare an occasional two hours to sit at our desk and welcome visitors? No specialist knowledge needed, just an interest in people. We are open at 49 Main Street on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10 am – 2 pm. Come in, see the exhibition and if you can be a volunteer, leave your details at the desk.
