On behalf of Waitohu School and all the kids who benefit from our fireworks extravaganza, we would like to thank the Otaki and wider Kapiti/Horowhenua communities for their support of our event.
The businesses who sponsor us, mostly small local businesses.
The people who support us in other ways.
Our parents and families who come out to man the stalls and don’t really get to enjoy the night because they are so busy.
The ‘Ex ‘ Parents and families who continue to come and help even after their kids no longer go to Waitohu School.
The Home and School committee who do weeks of prep to pull off this awesome community event.
Our teachers and principal who support us on the night with their hard work.
Local firefighters, Police, Maori Wardens and St Johns who make our night safe.
The amazing talented young people who entertain us.
And a community who, to spite of horrendous weather this year, continue to come and enjoy our event. Without all of which this community event would not be sustainable to put on.
