An additional country market is planned for Easter Sunday on March 27, 10.00am to 12.30pm at Te Horo Hall.

Regular stalls will be joined by those offering a selection of lavender products, wood turning, handcrafted gifts, jewellery, fire pits and braziers, preserves from Te Horo Harvest, bread and home baking, and locally grown fresh veggies.

“There’ll also be plants galore with prices as low as $4 for beautiful perennials,” said spokesperson, Sharon Hurst. “ Most items are produced right here in Te Horo, so come and support your local producers. After your walk around you can relax on the hall deck with a coffee from the cafe.”

Exercise at Te Horo Hall

Every Tuesday is Swiss Ball time at Te Horo Hall. From 9.15am to 10.15am fitness instructor, Carola, will take you through a class tailored to your abilities and pre-existing conditions. Excellent for those wanting to get into shape, increase fitness or just tone up a little – all ages and abilities welcome. For further information contact Carola 021 060 6094.

Te Horo Country Market

The monthly market at Te Horo Hall, Sunday 6 March, 10.00am to 12.30pm. Enjoy the friendly rural atmosphere while grabbing a bargain and the best of Te Horo’s produce and products. There is also the Seasonal Surplus Stall who will sell produce on your behalf, giving you 80% of the sale price. It’s a great way to turn your excess fruit and vegetables into cash.

Community Craft Circle

Here you’ll find a warm welcome, lots of inspiration and a dedicated time to progress your work. Held monthly at Te Horo Hall, bring along whatever you are working on. Morning session followed by lunch at local cafe and then an

option of returning to craftwork Wednesday, 9 March, from 10.00am.

Lions Book Fair

Saturday 12th and Sunday 13 March, Ōtaki Lions are having a Book Fair in Te Horo Hall 9am-4pm All books 50c each. Funds raised go towards supporting the Ōtaki Health Shuttle

Drinks and Nibbles

If you’re new to the neighbourhood or just wanting to catch up with friends, this is an ideal opportunity. Monthly BYO at Te Horo Hall, just bring a plate of nibbles to share and something to drink. Friday, 4 March, 5.30pm.
