College Show Shines

With group and individual plays and dances, made for an evening of fun, laughter and reminiscing from very talented cast and crew members.

The year 12/13 students performed a play, Mirror Mirror,  written by one of their own classmates, Maiarangi Carkeek. Local theatre expert James Manser helped complete and direct Maiarangi’s script.

“The play was a hit and had the audience laughing out loud,” year 13 student Isobel Cudby said.

The year 11 play was String of Dreams by New Zealand playwright Denise Walsh, a story of how teens struggle to fit in.

The evening proved to be very popular the college hall full of family, friends and college staff and students. 

“The outcome was a brilliant show that was enjoyed by all. I have been getting great feedback from people that attended,” Principal Andy Fraser said.
